As part of my Master's thesis, I developed "Sophienbad: Ein Flussbad für Halle," an innovative concept aimed at creating an inclusive public space. This project reimagines the urban landscape by introducing a river bath that is accessible and welcoming to all. The concept is deeply rooted in fostering community interaction and reconnecting people with natural water spaces.
To present this vision, I designed the exhibition layout for the Burg Gallery at Volkspark Halle during the summer of 2024. This exhibition, part of the Masterexhibition, showcased my work and allowed me to demonstrate my skills in scenography. The design aimed to immerse visitors in the project’s core values, using spatial arrangements to highlight the inclusive and open nature of the river bath.
Through this exhibition, I was able to merge both my creative and technical abilities, refining my approach to exhibition design while effectively communicating the essence of Sophienbad. The scenography reflected the flow and dynamism of water, allowing visitors to engage with the project in an interactive and meaningful way.
This exhibition not only showcased my project but also served as a testament to the skills I have developed in interior architecture and scenography throughout my studies at Burg Giebichenstein.
